Kayla wins the US newsquiz

The eight DailyMail.com trainees in New York, who have just started on the website's journalism scheme, have had an interesting week. They enjoyed sessions with deputy editor Louise Thomas, editorial operations manager Andy Abrahams and assistant editors Andy Milne and Sean O'Hare. Mollie Cahillane was the first trainee to be published on the site with a story she brought in about horses that had been left to die. Read it here. I am sure there will be many more stories to come in the following weeks.
